Your journey to the Wagner Hütte

Staying at our Wagner Hütte in St. Anton am Arlberg, provides you with a time out from traffic noise. But coming here, also means to calm down and enjoy nature’s beauty. Because the Verwall valley is car-free and so we look forward to your visit by foot, by bike, with the skis or by bus. You can park your car at the Verwall parking area.

Park it

The Verwall valley is a car-free zone. Therefore, you can park your car comfortably at the entrance to the Verwall valley in the parking area. Parking is free of charge there.

Simply public

In the winter and summer season you can easily reach the Wagner Hütte by public bus with the Linie 6 – Verwall, taking you from/to the Terminal West and the Wagner Hütte or the Verwall Lake. The bus runs every half-hour.

Wonderful hiking

From the parking area Verwall you reach the Wagner Hütte leisurely walking on the broad path in about 50 minutes. The hike is suitable for the whole family, as it is essentially flat.

Fast and easy

Reach the Wagner Hütte on the broad, essentially flat path in about 20 minutes – no matter if you drive a mountain bike or electric bike.

Athletic trip

The cross-country ski trail starts at the parking area Verwall and is one of the most beautiful trails in Austria, leading you through the forest on 10 challenging kilometres. It passes by the Verwall Lake and the Wagner Hütte.

Action and fun

To reach the Wagner Hütte you do not even have to get out of your skis. Skilled skiers can drive down to the Hütte directly from the Albona through the Maroi valley – if weather and snow conditions are safe.

A romantic ride in a horse-drawn sleigh takes you comfortably to the Wagner Hütte. Make your winter dreams come true. Cosily packed in warm clothes you can listen to the horses trotting through the snow-covered landscape and enjoy the charm of winter.
